Lodging units

10x "Monte" Suites
55,94m2.

9x "Eucalyptus" Suites
162m2.

9x "Sobreiros" Suites
4x  224m2, 4x  340m2, 1x  378m2.

All of the different suites will share the same bed cabin structure,
the different sizes and features of the private gardens
will define the category of the rooms.

Bed cabin.

This light structure is a cabin made of a double layer of clear polycarbonate sheets
mounted on a supporting shell,
that could be made either of wood, different metals or the same polycarbonate.
The structure is then totally transparent
with full in-and-out visibility on the surrounding private garden.
(Example of similar structure here below.)
Only in the case of the 10 "Monte Suites"
the polycarbonate sheets used for the lateral walls are translucent and not transparent
while the roof remains clear.

The building shape recalls the typical "Monte Alentejano"
The surface is 24,58m2
comprising a queen size bed, wardrobe for two, washbasin, shower box and WC.
The shelter gets plenty of light during the day and glows from within at night.
The design of the building allows natural cooling ventilation.

The structure lays on top of a perimetrical frame
made with used railroad wooden beams.

A shade system will provide protection from direct sun exposure
together with the shelter of the surrounding trees.

House in Yamasaki
Corrugated polycarbonate panels are used for outer walls of bathroom and sun-room to take in solar radiation. Moisture, water absorbing and heat-retaining sheets of greenhouse use are inserted in between the corrugated panels and structure. The inside of the walls are formed with a heat insulating layer of polycarbonate clear hollow sheet.
